UROP Community Engaged Intern
is a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, studying Neuroscience and Asian Studies on a pre-med track! She has been a self-proclaimed artist for as long as she remembers, her favorite medium being oil paint. In high school, she was deeply involved in both the art and social justice communities, sparking her interest in the intersection of creativity and activism. As the daughter of two Chinese immigrants who grew up during the Cultural Revolution, Eunice is passionate about challenging systems that perpetuate disparities and cultural inequalities.
Community Outreach Coordinating Intern
A native Detroiter and passionate administrative and communications intern here at BULKSpace who practices his art forms in the mediums of photography, mixed media design, and curation; Lawrence is currently a second year at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland; pursuing a B.S. majoring in Cybersecurity Intelligence Management and double minoring in Political Science as well as Management and Business Administration. Lawrence plans to use his experience here at BULKSpace to go on to pursue a career as a cybersecurity professional in government sectors while also maintaining a close relationship with the arts and humanities as a curator, photographer, and administrative professional in the arts.

Design & Content Development Intern
A native Detroiter and outstanding graphic designer and artist who navigates in the mediums of photography, mixed media design, curation, and story-telling; Koi is currently a second year at Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana pursuing a B.S. double majoring in both English & African American Studies while also minoring in Sales & Marketing. Koi plans to use her experience here at BULKSpace to go on to pursue a career in education particularly as a curriculum curator while independently engaging in her own art practice as a graphic designer.

UROP Community Engaged Intern
University of Michigan undergraduate pursuing a degree in Social Theory and Practice, with a strong focus on nonprofit consulting and development. Currently contributing to the Residential College Admissions Office as a Senior Admissions Assistant, supporting organizational goals while actively promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

BULK Space Programming Intern
Tia Nichols is an artist, educator, community activist and curator. Nichols explores activating spaces, memories and experiences to seek connection and raise awareness through her work. Her studio practice draws light on her interests in supporting our environment, how we impact the environment and how we occupy and develop in environments. Her work expresses her curiosity about endangerment. To live, but only as though there were no tomorrow.
