We all hold so much personal, generational, and collective experience in our systems as we navigate complex social, political, cultural, and economic intensities daily. This affects our abilities to create, organize, connect--differentially depending on our identities and relationships to power. In this workshop, we learned simple ways to regulate our nervous systems energetically and spiritually with attention to who we are in the world and who we are to each other. We illuminated how common conscious and unconscious blocks show up in our bodies and spirits and experimented with accessible practices to shift into spaces of flow, creativity, and connection. We held space for our voices and experiences supported by the techniques we explored together along with creative practice.
This workshop equipped artists and organizers with practical tools to regulate their nervous systems during this moment of extreme social, political, and cultural instability. By offering techniques for energetic and spiritual regulation, participants learned to navigate the pressures of empire collapse while enhancing creativity, resilience, and connection.
